Daily record Book

We love seeing our children develop at Mossley Hill childcare and we know that our parents do too, which is why we maintain a daily record sheet for each child.  It is amazing to see the tiny babies we take in, develop, grow up and leave us for school, in what seems no time at all.  The daily record sheet is a chance to record and remember the little things they do daily as well as the big achievements each child makes which is recorded in their learning journeys.  The learning journey files are available at any time for parents to view and also at parent's evening which is held twice a year.

It's nice to know what they ate, what stories we read to them or perhaps how they chuckled when something funny happened.  We will always write down the little adventures they have and how their day went.  If they say something funny (which so often happens) or make new friends or perhaps they ask about you, we'll always put it in their learning journey so you can re-live their day.

Our parents give us great feedback about the learning journey files and although it's not the same as being with your child, we aim to try and give you an idea of the atmosphere they are in, their mood and as much information about their day as we can which will be recorded on their daily sheet.
